The Preventive Plan FAQ
We’ve shared the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions to help you out!
If you know you are an eligible program member, download the Preventive Plan app, choose the “Sign Up” option, and enter the requested information so we can match you to an eligible participant in our system. Once you have successfully signed up and created an account, log in for the first time and complete the onboarding survey. This in-depth questionnaire helps us assess your current lifestyle, health risks, and lab and biometric stats — information that will be used to personalize your member care experience. The output of the survey, your Health Report Card, will summarize your results and help you pick a path forward.
Depending on what you want to work on and who you want to become in the new few weeks — a runner, a non-smoker, a more content, stress-free parent or spouse — you will choose your first pursuit. And so your journey begins! Log in every day to consume content crafted by clinical experts, practice small behavior changes that make big impacts over time, and track and share your progress with your Care Team.

The Care Team is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Rewards can be redeemed in the in-app Coin Shop. If your current Coin Balance (the number in the upper lefthand corner of the screen) is greater than the coin cost of the reward you want, you can click “Redeem” to cash in your coins and order your incentive.
All rewards and redemption requirements are planned and paid for by your employer. If you don’t see any rewards listed in the Coin Shop, you either have already redeemed the available rewards or your employer has not yet finalized the implementation details for this feature of the wellness program. You will be notified via email when new rewards become available.
Yes! If you use one of the activity-tracking apps listed below, you can connect your account to The Preventive Plan app to automatically log your workouts, steps, and other activities. Please note that only your physical activity data will show up in the app. Sleep, nutrition, and other health notes will not be recorded or stored.
The following apps are available to connect:
For Apple Health users, your activity data should start appearing within minutes of initial account sync. Any future activity logs should appear in near real-time, but you must open the Preventive Plan app for the entries to appear.
For all other apps, including Fitbit, Garmin, and MapMyFitness, the initial account sync and all future logs should populate in the Preventive Plan app within 24 hours. Be sure to log into the Preventive Plan app regularly to earn your coins!
No! Once you earn coins for completing a task, those coins are yours to keep. The only way to lose them is to redeem them for rewards in the Coin Shop!
Yes, each time you begin a new level of a pursuit, whether it’s a first start or a restart, you start with the introductory tasks and work forward from the beginning. Your coins earned during the abandoned pursuit level, however, will not be lost or reset.
