The primary responsibility of the Digital Content Marketing Manager will be to create, edit, optimize, and own all content related to the delivery and marketing of USPM’s lifestyle and disease management programs. We are seeking a digital marketing wizard who will wordsmith and scale all aspects of our content operations, so candidates must be comfortable with and excited to stretch across mediums, often juggling multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Examples of pieces and projects you can expect to own:
- Articles, tips, quizzes, surveys, and recipes for a mobile app product
- Evergreen corporate and product marketing content
- Copy for sales presentations and prospect resources
- Promotional email campaign content
- Healthcare and wellness industry blog posts
- Other web and mobile content as needed
Ultimately, the Digital Content Marketing Manager will be held accountable to the successful delivery of product marketing content AND health literacy resources, so we want someone who is comfortable becoming a subject matter expert in multiple verticals.
Position Responsibilities
- Plan, write, edit, and improve content, including web, mobile, and print materials
- Build a repository of copy to be re-used when communicating to different audiences
- Recognize and/or define and maintain content standards across the organization
- Evolve content design processes to facilitate the needs of the business
- Deliver quality content to support the product, sales, marketing, and clinical teams
- Act as the brand’s voice on social media when needed
Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable grammar; an eye for consistent editorial style, factual accuracy, and voice
- Ability to understand business goals and translate them into actionable content strategies
- Effective, communicative project management skills with a demonstrated ability to organize and balance multiple projects and priorities of cross-functional teams
- Ability to create and edit content for clarity, syntax, and semantics while also refining the conceptual angle of the piece to ensure maximum return on the investment of words
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal
- Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Jira, or Asana (preferred)
- Experience with email marketing tools such as MailChimp or Hubspot (preferred)
Education/Licensure/Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field or comparable work experience
Experience
- 4+ Years as a detail-oriented Content Manager or Marketing Manager
- 4+ Years planning, creating, and optimizing content for web and mobile
- 1+ Years creating print materials for product, sales, or advertising (preferred)
